It has been difficult to know exactly how to "celebrate" our centenary as the club builds to the actual day, marking 100 years, which is 2nd Dec 2026. One of the suggestions was to hold a lunch with a talk and sideshow describing the strategic events in the clubs history. As chief archivist (and more eloquent than most of us) Kevin offered.

Firstly the sheer volume and quality of archive material that Kevin curates is hugely impressive. Grass track event posters, Owler magazines back to the 1930s, letters and, of course, hundreds of photos.

What's even more impressive is Kevin’s knowledge and the amount of research he has carried out over the years (and still does).

A talk and presentation of artifacts that was difficult to beat .... except Kevin’s wife, Jenny, also provided a very welcome lunch. A day to remember.

This was a great way to start our 100 years celebration. Huge thanks to Kevin and Jenny.
