SOCIAL NEWS

Another good turnout for "Steak & Kidney Night" at The Halway House, Brenchley. As usual, the food was top notch and served piping hot, Ice cream (quite cold) and coffee (not too hot!, just right). Many thanks to George (again) for organising it for us. A good night.

Next Social event: June is without the regular evening social but instead hosts the OWLS Reunion Lunch. All are very welcome. Ideally polish your favourite/most historic bike and bring it along. Traditionally we like to capture the day with a lineup of riders with their bikes! Sunday 14th June, Weald Village Hall, Long Barn Lane, TN14 6PT, arrive for 10am when there will be a short (approx 1hr) rideout around the Kent, Surrey, Sussex borders before returning for a light lunch (usually £5 per head).

ANNUAL DINNER 17th January 2026

The Annual Dinner 2026 probably marks the end of Christmas celebrations. I know we are well into January 2026 but the Halfway House provided us with their excellent Christmas menu, all of which were delicious (I tried most!). We managed a very acceptable turnout (30) which filled the areas the pub had reserved for us nicely, although a little tricky to negotiate socialising.

A few photos to remember the occasion, I'm afraid my photography doesn't do the evening justice. Perhaps Santa will upgrade my mobile for next year!
